We assist businesses and private citizens resolve controversies and disputes by fostering a rapport, considering overlapping interests and values, appealing to overarching values, carefully exploring the sources of the controversy, and helping the parties to come to meaningful resolutions on their own terms. We also routinely represent individuals and corporate clients in formal arbitration and/or mediation proceedings before government agencies and in private negotiated settlements.
